The International Maternity Expo brings together a worldwide maternity audience to share pioneering research, practice and innovation across a broad spectrum of professions, government, services and suppliers, impacting maternity delivery around the world.

Filmed and streamed on demand, the programmes and studio presentations will be viewed through professional associations, maternity networks,  Youtube, dedicated vimeo channels and academic portals.

Two days of theatre/studio time in front of live audiences across 5 streams provide unique opportunities to present your work to the widest audiences in the most direct way.

An exciting opportunity for healthcare professionals and suppliers to network with and learn from leading global practitioners, sharing the latest developments through a range of formats including:

  • Studio Workshop – 1 hour, interactive sessions equipping participants with key messages and tools to apply to their practice
  • Theatre Studio Presentation – 30 mins including 15 mins of Q&A
  • PechaKucha – a concise and fast-powered presentation recorded in front of a live audience using a maximum of 20 slides (20 seconds per slide)
  • Debate Stage (10 minute presentation of key issues followed by debate and discussion)
  • Poster & Video – visual display of project or research for display during IME

Abstract Submissions

The submission process is the same for each, however you need to indicate which type of presentation you wish to give and the content of your submission needs to reflect that format.

Please submit your presentation via our online submission form ensuring you clearly indicate the theme you are submitting under.  It is useful to draft your abstract, looking carefully at the word limit of 500 words; checking grammar, spelling and structure.

By submitting an abstract, you are confirming that you or a co-author will be able to participate in IME, in London, on 12th and 13th November 2019.

  • Your abstract should reflect the overall theme of the forum, showcasing new ways of working, innovations and technologies to enhance the services healthcare professionals are increasingly bringing to the community. It should fit into one of the programme themes and can be research based or a best practice case study.
  • Please attach your conference paper in word format (doc, docx) along with any accompanying images (jpeg, jpg, png)

Presenter Consent Points

All conference material – the videos, podcasts and presentations – are put together into a box set for all participants after the event and may be made available to other relevant professionals following the event. To facilitate this, please review the information below and confirm via the online submissions form above that you are happy to share your presentation via our marketing channels.

1. Policy Review Projects Ltd may record my presentation on film, tape, disk or other forms of media.

2. My name, voice, likeness, and biographic or other information may be used by Policy Review Projects Ltd in connection with my presentation and/or recording. Copies of any visual aids and other materials used or provided by me may be made and distributed by Policy Review Projects Ltd in connection with the presentation.

3. I grant to Policy Review Projects Ltd on a nonexclusive basis the right to reproduce, distribute, display, and provide recordings of my presentation and presentation materials, in whole or in part, as well as my name, voice, and likeness, by means of the Internet, via physical media, and through photographic images.

4. To the extent my presentation or presentation materials are protected by copyright law, I reserve those rights to myself except as granted above.

5. The presentation and presentation materials are my own original material for which I have full authority to grant the rights set forth in this Consent and Release Form.
