A Midwife for over 30 years, Grace moved into academia after working as Consultant Midwife for 10 years.

She is passionate to enable student midwives to gain skills, research-based evidence, professionalism and confidence to safely and compassionately support women and their families to achieve a positive birth experience.

Grace is Deputy Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Midwifery Development
