Amy Keates works for RCHT as an acute midwife and also providing continuity of care for the traveller community as a pilot scheme.

Amy trained as a midwife at Swansea University before working at Guy’s St. Thomas’ NHS Foundation.

Since 2014 she has been working in Cornwall as both a community and acute midwife.

She is especially interested in caring for vulnerable women with additional and complex needs.

Outside of midwifery Amy enjoys open water long distance swimming and running.
