Tina Harris has been a midwife for over 35 years working in clinical practice, research and teaching roles.

Currently Tina is the Senior Clinical Lead (Midwifery) for the National Maternity and Perinatal Audit and is also an Associate Professor at De Montfort University, Leicester.

She has held roles as a Lead Midwife for Education, as a Specialist Advisor for the CQC, as a registrant member of the Midwifery Committee at the Nursing and Midwifery Council and as a journal reviewer and external examiner. Her research interests include practice variation, clinical decision making in midwifery and maternity audit.
