Gail began her career in higher education in 2003 at Edinburgh Napier University, she now the Lead Midwife for Education. Gail is part of the School’s Senior Leadership team and holds the position of Senior Academic Lead for Student Experience. Gail is Senior Teaching Fellow, and currently teaches both pre- registration and post registration students. Her research interests include obesity, particularly during childbirth, and has just completed her PhD study “Exploring Perception of Risk in Women with a BMI> 35kg/m2 during childbirth.
