Kizzy’s responsibilities include ensuring the quality of the midwifery programme is maintained in line with the University of Lincoln and Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) standards, ensuring good relationships are maintained with practice partners. Curriculum development is a large part of the role to map national policy changes into the curriculum maintaining its currency and validity.

Kizzy teaches across all subject areas relating to midwifery with a particular interest in anatomy and physiology, managing complexity through simulation. She is passionate about choice, advocacy and decision making.

Kizzy is a member of the Continuity of Carer sub group for NHS England and contributes to national midwifery policy drivers
